1. Introduction

At MILO, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our services, including our TestFlight program.

By using our services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use our services.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Personal Information

When you sign up for our TestFlight program, we may collect:

  • Email address (for waitlist and launch notifications)
  • Device information during TestFlight (model, OS version for debugging)
  • Crash reports (if you opt in during TestFlight testing)

2.2 Privacy-Friendly Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics tool, to understand how visitors use our website. Plausible:

  • Does not use cookies or track you across websites
  • Does not collect personal data (no IP addresses, no user IDs)
  • Collects only aggregate, anonymous page view statistics
  • Is GDPR, CCPA, and PECR compliant by design

Data collected includes: page URLs visited, referrer sources, device type (desktop/mobile), and country (based on IP address, but the IP itself is not stored). Learn more at Plausible's Data Policy.

2.3 App Usage Data

The MILO app itself does not collect or transmit any usage data to our servers. Your conversations, API keys, and settings stay entirely on your device. API calls go directly from your device to your chosen AI provider (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Mistral, or OpenRouter).

3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

  • The processing is in our legitimate interests and not overridden by your rights
  • To comply with the law
