1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using MILO ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use our App.
MILO is a multi-provider AI assistant for iOS that integrates with Siri, CarPlay, and various AI service providers.
2. Use of Service
2.1 Service Description
MILO provides a unified interface to access multiple AI language models (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Mistral, OpenRouter, and others). The App acts as a client that connects to third-party AI services using your own API keys.
2.2 Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Obtaining and maintaining your own API keys from supported AI providers
- Complying with the terms of service of each AI provider you use
- All costs associated with API usage from third-party providers
- The security of your API keys stored on your device
- All content you create or process through the App
3. "As-Is" Service
MILO is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted or error-free service
- The accuracy, quality, or appropriateness of responses from AI providers
- Compatibility with all devices or iOS versions
- That the App will meet your specific requirements
4. Third-Party AI Providers
Important: MILO is a client application that facilitates access to third-party AI services. We are not responsible for:
- The availability, performance, or downtime of third-party AI services
- The content, accuracy, or quality of responses from AI models
- Billing, pricing, or rate limits imposed by AI providers
- Changes to APIs, models, or terms by third-party providers
- Data handling practices of third-party AI providers
You must review and comply with the terms of service of each AI provider you use through MILO.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MILO and its developers shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Loss of data, revenue, or profits resulting from use of the App
- Damages arising from third-party AI service outages or errors
- Costs incurred from third-party API usage
- Any harm resulting from AI-generated content
6. Data and Privacy
MILO is designed with privacy in mind:
- Local Storage: Your conversations and API keys are stored locally on your device using iOS SwiftData and Keychain
- No Cloud Sync: We do not store, sync, or have access to your conversations or API keys
- Direct API Calls: All queries go directly from your device to your chosen AI provider
- Analytics: We use privacy-friendly Plausible Analytics on our website (no cookies, no personal data)

7. Intellectual Property
MILO's source code, design, and branding are the property of its developers. You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Remove or modify any proprietary notices
- Use MILO's name, logo, or branding without permission
8. Prohibited Use
You may not use MILO to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content
- Attempt to circumvent security measures or API restrictions
- Resell or redistribute access to third-party AI services
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of MILO after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to MILO at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
